In 1919 Louis Raucourt married Jeanne Dourdan,the heiress of a domain classified "Premier Cru". At that time, shipments were made by barge. So their domain located in Mareuil-sur-ay,near the canal Marne-Rhin,made these regular departures easier.

I have decided to carry on with the name of our late maternel family in order to perpetuate a local tradition based on symbolic "cuvées" newly designed. These two Champagnes,an harmonious blending of grapes,are a BRUT Chanpagne and a ROSE Chanpagne "Cuvée Désir". Thanks to a strict selection of "crus"elaborated with passion, both have been reviving in a well-balanced and specific style.
Since a few years now,I have been also owning high-performance installations allowing to achieve several stages of the process like disgorging and labelling for instance .
Son,grand-son and great-grandson of winegrowers,I also grew up in this environment. That is why I am determined to go on producing a high-quality product.
